Various manufacturers are creating increasingly interesting mini-desktops, and the other day there was another member of this family, ECS LIVA. A system can hardly be called productive, the system is based on the Intel Bay Trail processor, plus 2 GB of RAM, plus 32 GB of internal memory (eMMC).
But the system is very small in size, 4.6 ″ x 2.8 ″ x 2.2 ″, plus the manufacturer asks for only 180 dollars for your mini PC. There is no pre-installed OS. ')
In addition, the developers have provided gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 ports. There are HDMI and VGA ports.
There is also a feature - there is a micro USB port for connecting the system to power. The power source can be 5V, 3A. In principle, you can provide and battery. But all this is for the unit itself, but the monitor should be connected to a normal power source, everything is standard.
Since the system is not very powerful, the cooling system is passive. As for the processor, the manufacturer’s website does not say which processor is used. However, the company recently showed this PC at Computex, with an Intel Celeron N2807 processor. So, most likely, it will be supplied with the system.
The RAM and the drive are soldered to a miniature motherboard, but the entire system is assembled so that the computer can be easily disassembled, for example, to replace a wireless card.
You will need to assemble the system yourself, parts are shipped unassembled. Here is what it looks like:
