True (eastern parable)

When Muhammad escaped from persecution and was looking for him everywhere, Ali, his father-in-law, came up with a saving thought: he hid the prophet in a high basket worn on his head, hoisted this heavy burden on his head and passed, balancing, between the city gate guards.

- What's in your basket? - asked one of the guards.

“The Prophet Muhammad,” Ali replied.

The guards were so stunned by this unexpectedly brazen response that they laughed and missed Ali.
