The company Xcor Aerospace has published information about its latest development - the prototype of the two-seater space shuttle Lynx Mark I. They make a spaceship, of course, not to demonstrate the possibilities. Lynx Mark I is designed for commercial space travel. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the shuttle can use conventional runways for take-off and landing. The maximum flight altitude of the Lynx Mark I is 61 km, which is enough to feel weightless. Test flights of Lynx Mark I are scheduled for 2010. So in the near future, fat cats will be able to experience the delights of space travel in the "sports" business class of the shuttle.
