Samsung Electronics has announced the release of the first smartphone operating on the platform Tizen. Samsung Z was demonstrated yesterday in San Francisco at the Tizen Developer Conference. The first country in which sales of the Tizen-smartphone will begin, will be Russia - it will go to stores in the second half of summer.
Samsung Z is equipped with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen and a 2.3-GHz quad-core processor. The Tizen platform provides high performance and efficient management of the computing resources of the smartphone. Samsung Z can provide minimal start-up times, convenient multitasking, thanks to the efficient management of RAM resources, high-quality 2D and 3D graphics playback, fast scrolling and loading of web pages.

The optimized web browser demonstrates not only high performance and excellent compatibility with modern standards, including HTML5, but also reduced consumption of resources, which significantly extends the operating time on a single battery charge while actively using the Internet. User data will be protected by a fingerprint scanner. The maximum power saving mode allows you to make and receive calls even with minimal battery charge. Samsung Z has a pre-installed set of popular applications and services ported to the Tizen platform. The smartphone is made in a new design - clear geometric lines and straight, and not rounded corners create a minimalist and sophisticated style. The novelty will be available in black and gold colors.
Samsung Z will go on sale in Russia in the third quarter of 2014, and later will be available in the rest of the world.
