DevConf 2014 master class is dedicated to the development of the architecture of any typical large project. The main surprise is that for a very wide range of projects one architecture can be applied. It is 100% suitable for social networks, web stores, online games, media, blogs, Wikipedia analogues, entertainment portals and similar projects.
The purpose of training is to study and intensively develop (without “casting water”) this universal architecture for a project where tens to hundreds of millions of entities will appear in the future - user profiles, products, blog branches, game objects, etc. Of course, the architecture is not suitable for search engines, chat / twitter, business applications, etc.
We took an interview from the leading master-class Dmitry Borodin:
Tell a few words about yourself?I am engaged in programming more than 20 years. He has devoted the last 5 years not so much to programming, but to designing large scalable systems and data storage / processing methods. In addition to Topface, he worked and is still engaged in a number of projects, such as a team-leader and software architect. Always open to cooperation with new projects.
')
Can you say a few words about your master class besides what is in the description? The conference presented many thematic reports or master classes. My training is to try to convey to all the full and proven algorithm for creating any major project. The key word is an integrated approach on all topics at once necessary for developing and launching a potentially large startup. Due to time constraints, only 8 hours, all topics are trimmed to the dry residue of the most important algorithms.
What new learns your student class? How to create a company and a project from scratch, specific instructions on methods / patterns, development culture, etc. Of course, the main focus in the master class is devoted to an unusual approach to programming and architecture when developing highload databases. Listeners will learn and master these approaches on a variety of living, useful examples.
See you at the master class!
