IOS 8 beta or the pursuit of a novelty

Already before the launch of iOS 8, there were a lot of rumors that there would be there and what features would be added to the update.
In RuNet, you can find a bunch of links where you can enter a UDID and, by paying a coin (400 rubles on average), once in the developer’s account, install iOS 8.

For fun, I created a message on VKontakte that I would do it for 50 rubles, but no one responded (actually, it is good that they did not respond).

Let's not talk about honesty and sense: let me just describe this update, which I put on my iPad Mini with Retina.

Since I already have a developer account, then in developer.apple.com , after accepting the new agreement, you can see the IOS 8 tab.
Where you can see the development software and the axis itself, which weighs approximately 1.4 gigabytes in a compressed zip archive.



All the ease of installation is normal and not particularly interesting.

The most interesting thing started after.

IMPORTANT : this opus is made so that the Beta version should not be used as a user version for the reasons described below (and many do).

After that, I answered a few questions, entered the iCloud password and ... saw a wonderful one:



After that, I rummaged through the applications and did not see anything particularly new. The lock screen also has not changed.
From the little things I can say family access, which I just do not need.

From work: it became noticeable how the system wakes up and lags. Sometimes she doesn’t immediately react to actions, applications started to fly out more often ... In general, Beta’s performance should not be expected.



After I returned to the photo application and deleted the email I sent from the drafts, the application crashed.

Nothing new, for which you want to pay N rubles. From performance, too, nothing.
Beta - is beta. Moreover, I will say that, most likely, Apple specifically introduced not all changes here, so that there was no point in updating to the Dev version.
