OrPI Preorders - Navigation Expansion Board for Raspberry PI. miscellanea

As we have already mentioned, at the moment we are developing two versions of devices for the blind. The first combines computer vision and global navigation and is designed to solve the widest range of problems that they face in everyday life. The second is a specialized GPS / GLONASS navigator, designed to replace the solution that was widely used by the blind - LoadStone with Nokia's button buttons. Navigator is also an alternative to quite expensive and closed foreign devices Trekker Breeze and Kapten Mobility .

To reduce the price (and also in the hope of attracting the community), the navigator is based on the Raspberry Pi, supplemented by a board of our own design, which includes a GPS / GLONASS receiver, compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, 3G modem, and the ability to connect a battery and control its charge.

We also mentioned that we will sell this fee separately as well (in the hope that it will be useful not only for us) - to reduce costs and improve quality at the expense of mass.
And today, with excitement in our voice, we announce the start of pre-orders, leave applications - oriense-tech.com .
We have a small batch, which we are ready to send in the coming week, a larger batch will be ready in a month and a half.

Cost - 6999 rubles for the version with a modem, 5499 - for the version without (“fresh” marketing move with -1 ruble;)
