3 major innovations in this release:
')

1. Click to Call feature in Kerio Connect client, Google Chrome & Firefox

What is it?

Kerio Operator 2.3 provides the ability to make calls directly through the Kerio Connect client, Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers using special plug-ins (so-called "Click to Call").
You can call the client through Kerio Connect ...
• by clicking on any phone number in the Kerio Connect Address Book of the client
• by clicking on the sender or recipient of the message in the message header, and selecting a phone number
• by selecting any number in the body of the letter, and clicking on it to call

You can call via Google Chrome and Firefox using the “Click to Call for Kerio Operator” plugin installed ...
• by clicking on any “auto-definable” number on the web page and selecting “Call with Kerio Operator”
• selecting any number in the web browser, right-clicking the context menu and selecting “Call with Kerio Operator”
• calls are then initiated in the Kerio Operator client

This feature works in versions of Kerio Connect 8.3 and above and Kerio Operator 2.3 and above.

For what?

The “Click to Call” feature in the Kerio Connect client improves employee productivity and efficiency by removing unnecessary actions when trying to make a call.
• Users do not need to spend time searching for a number and dialing it.
• Simply select the number you want to call, click and pick up the phone.

For whom?

End users can simply click on a colleague’s name or select a phone number and start a call — you no longer need to search for numbers and dial them on the phone.

2. Call Tracking

What is it?

The call tracking feature allows users with an access code (usually managers and supervisors) to take part in a call.
• To join the conversation, dial * 6 (the factory default setting can be changed) and then the extension number.
• After connecting to the line, set the participation level (no sound, no sound only for the caller, with sound) by dialing 4, 5 or 6.

For what?

Typically, call tracking is used in call centers, sales departments and technical support in the process of training and checking the quality of staff work. With this feature, Kerio Operator provides small and medium-sized companies with enterprise-class PBX systems, while remaining low-cost and easy to use.

For whom?

Call Tracking will be useful for business owners, IT administrators and department heads.
