The Germans have created a control system of the aircraft with the help of thoughts

Developers from different countries are creating more and more interesting control systems for cars and airplanes. The other day a video appeared on the Web with a demonstration of the flight control system, where the pilot does not use levers, buttons, toggle switches and everything else.

Instead, a special “cap” is put on the pilot's head, reading the activity of the human brain. The system is adapted in such a way that human thoughts are converted into signals for the flight control system. As a result, the plane flies wherever the pilot orders him to fly.

The most interesting thing is that none of the seven people who took turns operating this plane (by itself, in the simulator, no one would have allowed to risk human life in real flight) had no experience in controlling the airplane, neither in reality nor in the simulator. And all the participants successfully coped with the flight, no one crashed their plane, and the takeoff followed by the flight, and the landing was successful.

The project itself, called Brainflight, is a joint development of the Munich and Berlin Technical Universities. Financing provided (and provides) the European Union.

The development itself was created not for the game, but for the subsequent creation of a flight control system using only mental commands, without having to memorize all the hundreds of buttons, levers and toggle switches that are in the aircraft cabin. On the real flight it is not yet, but after all, and robots cars were initially just an idea.
