The
"View as Googlebot" feature in Webmaster Tools allows you to understand how your page looks for Googlebot robots. Server headers and HTML code help identify errors and the effects of hacking, but sometimes they can be difficult to figure out. Webmasters usually grab their heads when they have to deal with such problems. To help you in these situations, we have improved this feature, and now it can display the page using the same algorithm that Googlebot uses.
How the scanned page is displayedWhen processing a page, Googlebot searches for and imports from external sources all files associated with it. Typically, these are images, style sheets, JavaScript elements, and other files that are embedded using CSS or JavaScript. The system uses them to display the page as it sees Googlebot.
The
View as Googlebot feature is available in the “Scanning” section of your account
for Webmaster Tools . Please note that the processing of the page with its subsequent display can take quite a long time. After it is completed, hover the mouse over the line that contains the desired URL to view the result.

instructions provided in the robots.txt file . If they prohibit access to certain items, the system will not use such materials for previewing. This will also happen if the server does not respond or returns an error. The relevant data can be found in the
Errors section of

We recommend providing Googlebot access to all embedded resources that are on the site or in the layout. This will make it easier to work with the "View as Googlebot" feature, allow the robot to detect and correctly index the content of your site, and also help you understand how your pages are being scanned. Some code snippets, such as social networking buttons, analytics tool scripts, and fonts, usually do not determine the design of the page, which means that scanning them is not necessary.
