The master / slave terminology in the django framework was replaced with leader / follower for reasons of political correctness

Today, the master branch Django took completely wild from the point of view of logic pull request .

In the entire project, including the code, the generally accepted terms of master / slave have been changed to leader / follower.

Here is how the author of the fcurella patch justified it :

Documentation and some tests contain references to the master / slave database configuration.
Despite the fact that this terminology has been used for quite a long time, these terms may carry a racist background for users.
This patch replaces all uses of master and slave with leader and follower.

Apparently Mizulina is a rather international term, and not just a Russian one.
