In early March, the authors of the original book Sacha Greif and Tom Coleman threw a cry inviting fans of the MeteorJS framework to translate it into all the languages of the world. Localized versions of the book would be laid out under a free Creative Commons license, freely available to anyone who would like to quickly get to know the world of Meteor. At the moment there are translations into 22 languages of the world, in varying degrees of readiness. The project is available on GitHub, and if someone noticed a typo, or wants to somehow complement the translation - welcome to the team.
14 main chapters and 11 explanatory well familiar with the world of Meteor and are available even to those who have never done web development. Meteor is a complete framework with its separate universe of plug-in packages called Atmosphere, and, in a sense, it contains everything you need for development. The book will introduce you to the concept of code on the server and on the client, tell you about the fashionable reactivity of the data, affect MongoDB, and mention the features of NoSQL in comparison with relational databases.

During the reading of the book, you will create your own web application for publishing links to sites, with comments, voting, users and animations. One of the additional chapters will tell you how to create your own package for the Atmosphere. During the whole book, git and GitHub will be actively used to save the code. In each chapter there is an opportunity to make a checkout code and look at the live application in the state at the time of this particular chapter.
From the very beginning, several ways to publish an application will be considered, including in the Amazon AWS cloud.
