At first I will say: many thanks to Habr for providing another six months opportunity to talk about the development of the Open Terminal client.
The news itself - now you can connect to the Citrix terminal server and work with published applications on OTC-110, incl. with CAD applications (video under the cut).
I understand what looks more like a tweet than a post, but I don’t consider it necessary to describe how to use apt-get to install packages on Linux again, so I’ll briefly say:
The firmware was updated again, namely, the Citrix receiver client (taken from the Citrix receiver site ) was installed, the latest version of linuxarmhf-13.0.0.256735.tar.gz and the necessary libraries.
setting (web server address) added to shell, shell version 0.6.0, requires the latest firmware version - 0.6
if you select “connect to the Citrix server” in the firmware, the web browser with the citrix address of the server is started to authorize the user, then the user can run the published applications, that's all.
How it works is better to see than to read, therefore
Demonstration of citrix-receiver
In this video, the resolution is 1024 * 768. At a resolution of 1920 * 1080 it also works, there is no possibility to record video.
For the final inclusion in the firmware, you need to communicate with users who use Citrix on their network - we have no such experience. If you have any suggestions / suggestions / amendments, write to support@itfb.biz or to the forum.
Beta firmware version available - can be run from SD card (can be installed in NAND). UPD: you can download the microSD image on yadi.sk/d/TjMp5wOCRBeC2
