Packing and packaging
The smartphone comes in the usual for Highscreen packaging from recycled cardboard. 128 gigabytes of 4Sync cloud storage comes to it as a gift. In addition to the smartphone, the inside of the box contains a network adapter, a USB-microUSB cable, instructions, another headphones that cannot be used (why are they all being shoved ?!). And the phone itself, of course.

Ergonomics
The phone is comfortable in the hand, but I was somewhat unusual because of the size - 0.4 inches. The differences with my smartphone were tangible. I needed both hands more often to use the keyboard.
The phone has a five-inch screen. On the front side there is a speaker, front camera and light and proximity sensors.
The volume control and the power button on the screen are located on the left and right side faces, respectively. These are all physical buttons on the phone. Screenshots with this location are particularly convenient. On the bottom is a microphone and microUSB, and on the top is a headphone port.

On the back cover - the main 8-megapixel camera, flash, speaker and logo.

It is pleasant to hold the phone in hand, it is good quality plastic and the shape of the back cover with rounded edges.

On the right side there is a notch in order to conveniently remove the cover. There is no hot change for microSD in Spider, unfortunately. On the cover - the antenna. The cover closes the battery and ports for microSD and a sim card of a micro format.

Display
The display is built on technology One Glass Solution. The resolution of the five-inch IPS-screen is 1280 x 720. The colors are very rich, the display is bright. One of the main positive points in this smartphone. Produces display AU Optronics Corp, working in this direction since 1996. The only negative - there are a lot of prints, you'll have to wipe it often.

Cameras
The resolution of the front camera is 2 megapixels, the main one is 8. The pictures are quite sharp - compared to the previous smartphones from this manufacturer, the camera is much stronger this time. There are a lot of settings again - so if you want and there is enough time to deal with them, you should get great shots.
Examples of photos taken on the main camera.

Memory
Unfortunately, the internal memory in the phone is not so much again - only 8 gigabytes, of which only 3.9 GB will remain under the content. If it were not for the support of microSD - then I do not know how this can be enough. You can expand the memory with a card up to 32 gigabytes.
To replace the memory card will have to climb under the cover and get the battery - not enough "hot" shift.
Performance
The smartphone is positioned as "powerful" and for reasonable money. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHZ quad-core processor and Adreno 305 graphics processor do their job well.
The central processor is “powerful” and can hardly be called powerful in modern realities. Nevertheless, I was pleased with the lack of brakes in games and work. What else do you need to consider cats and gadgets on the Internet?

BenchmarksOn performance tests, the phone showed itself as follows.
CPU Prime Benchmark

AnTuTu Benchmark

Quadrant Standard

Vellamo Metal, Vellamo HTML5

Battery
Unfortunately, the second battery, as in the case of Boost 2SE, is not here. 2000mAh was enough for me for a day of active use. In any case, at work and at home will have to connect it to the outlet, like almost any android, except for Philips Xenium.
Competitors
If you compare with analogs, then a smartphone with LTE support and similar characteristics (hardware, a display with good resolution) will cost more in white retail. For example, ZTE Grand S in Svyaznoy will cost 16,000 rubles, moreover, it is delivered to the Russian market without 4G at all.
The most "related" in technical characteristics was Sony Xperia SP. According to the characteristics they are close, at a price - a difference of a thousand rubles.

Comparison of these gadgets is as follows. Highscreen wins the size of the display with the same resolution - 5 inches versus 4.6 if for whom this is of fundamental importance. Spider's front camera is a little better. The processors are the same manufacturer, the Spider has a quad-core 1.2 GHz, and the Xperia has a dual-core 1.7 GHz. Sony wins by 370 mAh battery. Prices for both smartphones are listed in the Connected.

TotalOne of the downsides is the brand screen on which the prints remain. In addition, the Spider begins to heat up after long games. Another minus is a small amount of internal memory and no hot-swappable microSD.
The advantages of the smartphone immediately include the cost for which you get a gadget with LTE, GLONASS / GPS, modern OS on board (some major manufacturers still produce smartphones on 4.2), as well as a bright five-inch display with HD-resolution and rich colors .
