Recently, a description of a new robot called Toshiba ApriPoko appeared on Toshiba’s official website in Japan. This robot is designed to fulfill the wishes of its owner and help him in everyday life. He observes, remembers what you ask for, what you want and, thus, becomes an indispensable assistant.

In short, Toshiba ApriPoko takes the command for the first time through a special control panel, remembers what and how you asked. And next time, he will do the same thing just by your voice command. By the way, he has a camera and a microphone for identifying a person who is asking for something. The data about each of them is collected and summarized separately, so there can be many users.

Another interesting feature is that this robot can control the TV from a distance as a remote control. That is, if you ask him to switch the channel, lower or increase the volume, etc., he can do it. He will be able to do a lot of things, but not yet available for sale.
At the moment there is only a demo version of ApriPoko and for now he understands only simple commands. But we hope that it will be finalized and will soon be sold.
