There is no report yet - what I will prepare today may become outdated in a week.
phpng is an experimental and very dynamic branch of PHP.
The amount of changes in the code made in 5 months exceeds 9MB.
Most of the standard extensions are already supported (to date, only 17 have not yet been adapted).
We have already tested phpng with wordpress, drupal, SugarCRM, ZF2 and everywhere noted at least 10% (or even up to 30%) increase in performance and a significant decrease in memory consumption. In fact, we are only taking the first steps, but now everyone in the PHP community understands that this is the main contender for the core of the next version of PHP. Well, all users will get a faster tool.
- Who is your report focused on?
First of all, for developers who are familiar with C (the report will contain some technical details of the implementation).
I hope it will also be interesting for representatives of companies with high load web applications.
Well, everyone who is interested in the future of PHP.
