Yesterday the new QIP Infium RC1 appeared. Among other innovations , the point is interesting.

The length of the login is limited to the bottom seven characters. But it is limited by software, nothing prevents to take any other client and register through it an account with a short login :) Configure it like this:

port: 5223
SSL ("legacy SSL" in the case, for example, with Psi)
