DevCon 2014 conference program published

Dear software developers and testers, participants of DevCon 2014 conference. On behalf of the organizers, I am pleased to present you the program of the two days of the conference, which included reports in five parallel tracks, three exclusive workshops and an evening program with round tables and two hackathons

Below I will talk about some details of the program DevCon 2014.

Main program

The main program of the conference includes a plenary report, keynotes and mini-sessions. In total, conference participants and online viewers will be able to choose from 55 very different reports .

This year we have decided to make the conference program and reports more in-depth. Therefore, more than a third of the DevCon 2014 reports will be level 300 or higher.

The first day of DevCon 2014

The conference will be opened by a two-hour plenary report , within which, according to tradition, a general overview of all company news for developers over the last year since the last conference will be given.

On the first day, along with the plenary report, participants and online conference viewers will be able to attend 20 sessions on all software development topics: client and mobile application development, web and cloud application development and development, development tools, and corporate application development.

The second day of DevCon 2014

The main program of the second day of the conference will open with 30 minute interesting mini-reports. You can learn about a lot of interesting things from our partners and invited speakers.

The entire second day will be filled with technical reports. During 25 hour presentations, conference participants and live viewers will be able to learn a lot of interesting things about the most modern software development approaches and the latest tools.

The final of the conference will be the official closing ceremony, during which the results will be summed up, the winners of the competitions will be announced and memorable gifts will be given out.

Additional program

DevCon 2014 also includes an additional program, exclusive for participants who arrived at the venue in person. Reports and workshops of the program will not be recorded or broadcast online and can only be visited in person.

The first day of DevCon 2014

On the first day of the conference, parallel to the main program, two simultaneous master classes will be held:

• Workshop of Gaidar Magdanurov "From Idea to Success"
• Workshop “A spark will kindle a flame: we inspire children with the help of technology” with Dmitry Soshnikov

In the evening of the first day, the participants will enjoy an entertaining evening program with a surprise and round tables of the additional program:

• Logrocon round table “Load testing using the Microsoft Azure platform”
• Round table "How to create your business with the support of Microsoft"

Another great activity of the DevCon 2014 conference will be Hackaton “Coding Night”, where conference participants will be able to apply the knowledge gained during the day into practice, coming together for coding. In addition to the hackathon, there will also be an interesting F # Coding Dojo activity where you can learn about F # machine learning. Hackathon will last from ten in the evening until two in the morning.

The second day of DevCon 2014

On the second day of the conference, within the framework of the additional program, one masterclass will be held on “Safe Applications: from Local to Cloud”
The second day will end with the closing ceremony of the conference.
