“Superfluous” meta information in pictures saved with Fireworks CS3

I’ve been using Fireworks for a long time, but only last week I discovered an unpleasant feature of the latest version from Adobe. In the files saved using the File-> Save As menu, additional meta-information appears in the XMP format — data about the file type, creator program, date of creation. Even if no additional user settings are included, the “extra” [me] data is typed at 13 kb. Accordingly, a dozen different images on the page “brings” an extra one and a half hundred kilobytes.

If you go the human way, through the Export selected slice, no additional information appears. But personally, when I make changes to an already prepared file, I often press Ctrl + S. And it was extremely rare (until recently) that he was engaged in the optimization of small pictures, just not expecting such a trick. From now on I will be more attentive - and I advise everyone.

Additionally:
The same format Adobe XMP . By the way, on Habré, I did not find anything about him, but the thing is actually interesting. I think that when creating photo galleries on the site, it makes sense to add similar data to the files.
