Zingaya app update for iOS

image Unfortunately, support for the WebRTC standard is still not implemented in Safari browser. And customers who click on our links / buttons online call on mobile devices running iOS is becoming every day only more (currently it is more than 7%). Having collected a considerable amount of feedback on the previous version of the application, we decided to release a new version in which we did work on errors in the UX / UI area, and also corrected a number of minor errors and bugs that spoiled the impression of the application. In addition, during this time, a new version of iOS managed to be released, in which the previous version of the application already looked outdated, and we do not intend to keep up with the progress. Design


Like last time, we started developing the application interface. It was decided to make the interface in accordance with the recommendations of Apple, more familiar to users of apple products company. It was decided to leave the functionality of the application unchanged, the main purpose is to automatically start the application when you try to call via Zingaya on the client’s website and make a free call via the data channel. In addition, there is a directory of large companies in the application, many of which are our customers who can call directly from the catalog. You can create a list of selected companies that you often call to, so as not to go to their website or search for their directory. The result is in front of you:

For those who want to get acquainted with the previous version of the application there is a corresponding post on Habré. In our plans to allow organizations to add contacts to the catalog, after some preliminary moderation on our part, as well as updating the audio engine, including support for the open Opus codec, to further improve the sound quality - there is always something to be done in this direction. We hope that the new version of the application will appeal to our users and customers.
