Announced a course on managing storage systems EMC VNX

Registration is now open for the popular VNX Storage System Management ( VNX Unified Storage Management ) course for EMC partners and customers. The course is scheduled for June 02 - 06, 2014.

The training program is designed for storage administrators and offers a detailed study of unified storage systems on the EMC VNX platform. Moreover, its materials already include information on second-generation VNX systems, the deliveries of which have been launched quite recently. It considers all aspects of their configuration and management tools, including the process of efficiently deploying VNX systems, the initial settings for their security, ensuring high reliability, and the organization of data networks (SAN / IP-SAN) for disk-level access and NFS / CIFS for access on file level for servers with different operating systems (Windows, Linux and VMware vSphere). It also examines the creation of local copies of data, quoting, exporting file systems, data compression, and more.

This course is primarily recommended for those employees of companies who are tasked with obtaining the greatest possible amount of practical skills in VNX in the shortest possible time.

The course is read in Russian, while part of the modules will be provided by an English-speaking instructor with the help of a guest translator, and the main part of the material will be presented by an instructor of the TC MUK. A detailed program of the course is given here .
