The other day on Habré was
published the news that Mozilla has released an update for its mobile operating system Firefox OS 1.3. And almost immediately, the company ZTE released a hundred-dollar smartphone with this OS, the smartphone was named ZTE Open C.
As for the OS itself, a lot of things were improved / added to it. And what is the smartphone itself? What developers were able to offer the buyer, evaluating your device just $ 100? It turns out that the smartphone is quite interesting for itself, it is not just a "dialer".

For comparison, let's remember what the first phone based on Firefox OS,
ZTE Open, was :
- Capacitive TFT display with a resolution of 320 * 480 pixels and a diagonal of 3.5 inches;
 - Single-core Qualcomm MSM7225A ARM Cortex-A5 processor with a core frequency of 1 GHz;
 - 256 MB of RAM;
 - 512 MB of internal memory;
 - 3 MP camera;
 - slot for microSD cards with supported capacity up to 32 GB;
 - 1200 mAh battery;
 - Wireless communication modules.

Price: $ 80 (
now $ 70 ).
Now the characteristics of
ZTE Open C :
- Touch screen with a resolution of 800 * 480 pixels and a diagonal of 4 inches;
 - 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 ARM Cortex-A7 dual-core processor;
 - 512 MB of RAM;
 - 4 GB of internal memory;
 - 3 MP camera;
 - 1400 mAh battery;
 - HSPA + network support, WiFi, Bluetooth wireless modules, GPS module and all.

Price:
$ 100 .
As you can see, no super bells and whistles, however, for $ 100, this is a fairly functional smartphone that allows you to browse and play games and, of course, call / chat.
