Not so long ago, we
presented the first version of our Nimbus Note application for the iOS platform. We received a rather large number of reviews - from positive to sharply negative (and even coarse :)) Today I am ready to present you a new version of our application, where we tried to take into account (and fix) all our errors, and also added a lot of new functions, such like: creating audio and video notes, support for Fleksy keyboards, quick editing of notes, and more.

Updated designNo, not to say that there were many complaints about the design, rather, quite the contrary. Nevertheless, there were flaws there, which we tried to fix. The list of notes has now become more contrasted, and the names of notes are no longer “merging with the screen”, which was a matter of several complaints. The new version has several new types of notes, which also imprinted on the appearance - the upper right button is now responsible for invoking the panel for creating audio / video and TODO notes.

Audio / video notes and attachment supportIn the new version, it became possible to create audio and video notes, as well as open attachments that were received during synchronization. At the moment, you can play video / audio, as well as view PDF-files.

Keyboard fleksyMore keyboards good and different! Keyboard Fleksy appeared not so long ago, but already managed to gain considerable popularity. We try not to stand aside from progress (or fashion?) And have added Fleksy support to our application.
Quick access to the editorIf earlier it was necessary to first open the preview screen, and only then go to the editor, now you can open a note in the editor directly from the list of notes. To do this, you need to make a double tap on the name of the note, and a single press opens the note in the preview, as before.
Create todo notes and task priorityThe new version has the ability to create TODO-notes directly from the main window. Such notes will be given special attributes and they will open immediately with an open taskbar. It also became possible to rearrange tasks in the list by priority, using standard drag & drop.
Unique note titlesNow the names of notes are taken from the text (unless of course you did not set the title), which will allow you to avoid a large number of notes with the same name.
Also worth noting is the fix of a number of fairly sensitive bugs, such as the lack of ability to paste text from the clipboard or problems viewing large tasks, as well as a number of smaller bugs and problems.
