Yesterday on Habré a small review of a miniature and fairly productive PC from Gigagbyte was published. This computer is fine, but it is positioned as a model for assembly. That is, after buying the base, you need to buy more RAM, as well as a hard drive or SSD, plus install your own OS.
An alternative to this PC can be CyberPowerPC, from the Fang Mini PC series. There is no need to collect anything, everything goes out of the box.

So, the device comes with a hard disk of 1 terabyte plus 8 GB of RAM (up to 16 GB of RAM is supported). In addition, the operating system, Windows 8.1, is also installed (for some customers this may be a disadvantage, for some it is an advantage).
The size of the case is 11.4310.925.84 centimeters.
The model is offered in two versions, in different price categories.
The first is based on a platform from AMD. This is a AMD A8-5557M quad-core processor and Radeon R9 M275X graphics. The cost of this configuration is 799 dollars.
The second is based on a platform from Intel. A quad-core Core i7-4770R and Intel Iris Pro 5200 graphics are installed. The price is $ 889.

In addition to graphics and chip, everything else in the two configurations is the same. This is a wireless 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac W-Fi module, Bluetooth 4.0, four USB ports, Ethernet, HDMI and Mini DisplayPort. There is a mSATA port, so you can connect an SSD. Of course, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack.
As for the PC from Gigagbyte, its top version costs about $ 500. And if you buy more RAM, put a 1 TB hard drive, or a more or less capacious and fast SSD, plus buy a license for Windows, you get about the same price as CyberPowerPC. But we still need gestures for searching and purchasing the necessary nodes, which is a minus for some users.

Well, CyberPowerPC has everything working right away, “got in and out”, which can be one of the competitive advantages of this model.
