Really powerful and compact PC

Some new items are very alarming. This is an open laptop without a keyboard and without a disk for $ 1'995 based on a weak ARM processor, then a "universal" and "powerful" PC Tango the size of a smartphone for $ 350, is actually completely useless without a second docking station, which costs as much as half of this PC , in that case, if you still carry a computing module between work and home.

I have been looking for a long time to replace my laptop with something, and laptops have completely ceased to interest me since such a tablet appeared.
I wanted something quite compact, and I started digging in the direction of the nano-ITX and pico-ITX form factors, but nothing was productive enough for reasonable money.

But there was literally such a pollitrovka, carrying the 4th generation of Intel Core, Haswell.

If the picture is not clear, then this PC is still slightly smaller than the already mentioned docking station for the Tango (108mm x 115mm x 30mm vs 135mm x 135mm x 27mm).

Comes with a processor mounted on the motherboard. Processor line:

- Intel® Core ™ i7-4500U 1.8 GHz - 3.0GHz (turbo), Intel HD 4400
- Intel® Core ™ i5-4200U 1.6 GHz - 2.6GHz (turbo), Intel HD 4400
- Intel® Core ™ i3-4010U 1.7 GHz, Intel HD 4400
- Intel® Celeron ™ 2955U 1.4 GHz, Intel HD

There is also a model based on AMD A8-5545M 1.7G / 2.7GHz.

Such a miracle is being sold as a model for an assembly, for which a complete memory is needed (up to 16GB can be inserted, carefully, only 1.35V DDR3, not 1.5V is suitable) and an mSATA disk.
Cost depending on the processor varies on foreign sites from $ 250 to $ 500. A set of two memory bars with a total volume of 8GB can be purchased for approximately $ 100, approximately the same will cost mSATA SDD at 128GB. WiFi b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0 / 3.0 are already on board, occupying a single PCIe port.

Available also in the case with the suffix H, which is twice as high as usual, but allows the installation of 2.5 "SATA drive.

There are options for Gaming and Pro, with an even higher body and more powerful stuffing.

Another special attention deserves a model with a built-in projector.

I can not fail to mention the Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing, the Next Form Factor of Computers), but, alas, Intel lost it somewhere, and the quality of its devices causes violent indignation at forums and in reviews on large retailers. The size, composition and price of the NUC is not much different from the Brix.

From the next models from other manufacturers, you can still call the Lenovo IdeaCentre Q190 , alas, with the last-generation i3 in the maximum configuration, and the Zotac ZBOX nano , also incomparable in performance.
