A laptop is a mobile computer. Of course everyone wants to use this mobility to the maximum.

One day my friends and I gathered at my house to play a little. Five people with laptops all over the apartment comfortably settled down and started playing (thanks wi-fi). Under beer, as they say, it is better to shoot, so it was not without it.

At that moment I thought that this would be the most expensive bottle of beer in my life. Yes, I spilled it on the laptop. Immediately turned off, disconnected the battery, quickly began to spin your laptop.

I was lucky, under the keyboard there was a protective film that saved me from getting liquid on the motherboard, and I got off with just replacing the keyboard, but it was still not very pleasant.

The other day at work (one of the departments of our company engaged in the repair of laptops) brought a flooded laptop. The same beer was spilled on it, but they were brought to the service a couple of months later.



The mold was all over the board, it was cleaned, but the laptop did not start up, as they did not pick it up - it refused to start.

The guys from the service say that the most cruel thing is to pour kefir, the fermentation process takes place and as a result, the fee just eats away.

The moral is: Be careful with the laptop, but if you still spill something on it, then

• You must immediately turn off the laptop.
• Disconnect the power supply and battery.
• Turn on its side and leave in such a position that the liquid is drained. Not through the whole laptop, naturally.
• Without delay, contact the service center.

What should not be done in any case:

• Try to turn on the laptop.
• Dry hair dryer. You can spoil the keyboard film.
• I do not advise shaking the laptop. What if you have there valuable data? Hardly it will benefit the hard disk. (by sanchez)
