')

That is exactly what happened in late April, when the authorities decided to arrest the owner of the torrent tracker Dreamfilm.nu (the Facebook account is now redirected, the site is no longer working) and its “assets” as a home computer.

As already mentioned, the site was not even hosted by some company, it was placed on the owner's computer. At the same time, even the torrent files were not stored on the site, the owner posted links to such files located on third-party resources. According to him, the site was nothing more than a search engine for torrent trackers, and provided links to the movies that users were looking for. Despite all the assurances of the owner of the resource in the absence of crime, the police seized a home PC with a home site.

Government officials described the resource as “Pirate Bay in miniature”. The anti-piracy organization Antipiratbyran contacted the police, reporting that the site mentioned distributes about 25 films.

The site’s human rights activists were attracted by the fact that his Facebook account scored as many as 900 likes from visitors.

Having held the “violator” for 8 hours in the precinct, he was nevertheless released (most likely, the trial is still ahead). And the “server” is still in the hands of the police, who are studying it.
