VideoMining specialists have developed a microcircuit that allows, automatically, based on the analysis of video data, to determine the gender, age group and ethnicity of a person recorded on a video.
The VMX chip uses analysis algorithms developed by VideoMining back in 2005 and already tested in video surveillance systems installed in large stores.
According to the company's representatives, interest in the new chip should be caused by the fact that the analysis algorithms are incorporated in it at the hardware level, which allows using this product for various needs. Moreover, surveillance equipment for retail outlets is still flowers. Berries are security systems and industrial espionage.
