Because of
this post, I decided to write a few lines about Windows Vista myself.
A little more than a year ago, the first time I
tried quite
unsuccessfully to Vista , I demolished it every other day (buggy toys and the computer did not fall asleep, it was important on that machine). This fall I
transferred my home computer to a whist (I only work with it remotely). And a couple of weeks ago, a little bit of upgrading the parent machine also stuck Vista there. The verdict is one, in Vista it is more convenient than in HP, it is better than HP, it is more beautiful than HP.
Yes, we need resources, and the most important is the amount of memory, but judging by the
market.ptz.ru gigabyte Kingston DDR2 PC6400 costs 620 rubles, which allows any budget machine to add memory to the outset for very little money. (And I, quite recently, just a couple of years ago, bought SD-RAM PC133 128Mb for 900r). At 2 GB of memory, Vista's brakes are almost imperceptible.
Many people, like me, in HP recognize only the “classic” interface that stretches even with Windows 95, disabling the nafig all these vulgar thingies and blue panels of the default HP. In Vista, there is no thought to switch to a “classic” design, everything is beautiful, comfortable and not overloaded. And the built-in search, image preview and display of the window contents when hovering on the taskbar or alt + tab makes Vista a cool system for the house.
I was afraid that my parents would start screaming that everything was uncomfortable in the new system, that they had gotten used to HP for so long, but the problem did not take place, they use it and mine do not even notice the changes. Get used to Vista is not necessary.
The last pair of laptops that were bought into the office are already coming from Vista. Work. Yes, slower than HP on a similar configuration, but with their simple office tasks cope.
In general, I increasingly wonder what the difference is the OS. I do not use the system, I use the software in it. Firefox, mIRC, Miranda, TheBat, Word / Exel, Photoshop, Nero and Putty have worked great for 2k and HP, and continue to serve on Vista. Absolutely no problem. Not to mention the fact that Vista works much faster with samb. Catalogs with a large number of items are loaded instantly.
Right now I am dialing this post from the laptop on Vista, connected via RDP to my home Vista. And I'm going to go out to dinner looking "
Run Fat Run " on a TV set connected to the parent machine with Vista.
Microsoft got a good system, who would not say that.
