Microsoft will return the usual Start for Windows 8
Today, The Verge has published information that Microsoft is going to return the classic Start menu for Windows 8. According to the publication, the company is going to return Start in the second major update for Windows 8.1, which is scheduled for August of this year. The new menu will look like something average between that used in Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Earlier this month, the company released the mandatory cumulative update KB2919355 for Windows 8.1, which introduced such changes to the interface as the usual “close” and “minimize” buttons for Metro applications (aka Modern UI), and also changed the desktop download method user bypassing the Start menu in the style of Modern UI.
