There is no better gift for a baby than an old and useless mobile phone, according to a professor at a Scottish university located in Stirling.

According to Lydia Plowman , the out-of-fashion tube lying idle in the desk drawer does not pose a danger to the kid (unless, of course, he takes out the antenna for himself), but gives him more opportunities for learning than traditional methods. The kid at an early age gets acquainted with modern technological interfaces that develops his brain in the right direction.
