Foreign Internet-based e-mail and instant messaging services will be required, along with Russian companies, to store data on the activity of their users for six months and necessarily in Russia. This follows from the text of the "anti-terrorism" law, which the State Duma finally adopted on Tuesday in the third reading. According to experts, if foreign companies refuse to comply with the new law, access to their services in Russia may be blocked.

Based on the experience of interaction with the "Chinese comrades", Google does not give up its users. Skype (Microsoft) - rent. Yahoo - also interacts with the Chinese. It is not clear what Facebook will do (they have a messaging service).

A working, non-blocking and uncensored alternative to Skype may exist - Tox or TorChat, although Tox is still raw, and the situation with TorChat is not clear if the Tor nodes are blocked.

What to do with emails is not yet clear. As far as I understand, all non-Russian email services can potentially be blocked. What is the alternative in this situation to communicate with non-IT people (so that it is easy and easy to use).?

Social networks - perhaps Diaspora will be uncensored and unblockable.

The next step is to block the Torah (the Chinese comrades managed to do it) and VPN-ov, because without this, all prohibitions lose their meaning.
