Sandbox Augmented Reality

This amazing sandbox is an interactive tool for teaching children. Creating their own sand landscapes, the little demiurges immediately get the mountains, ravines, volcanoes, valleys and rivers.

This project was created by a team of specialists in geology and visualization. Postron system based on Microsoft Kinect camera, working in conjunction with topographic software and 3D-projector. A lot of time was spent by the authors to teach their offspring to quickly and accurately respond to the actions of children.

This technology can be found a number of applications, not only in teaching children, but also in landscape design and urban design.
