The participants of the Lingvo Cup 2014 will help with the transfer Coursera

We are glad to announce that the sixth online translation championship is now underway - “ Lingvo Cup 2014 ”. As before, schoolchildren over the age of 16, students of all educational institutions and forms of education, as well as graduate students who received a high school diploma not earlier than 2012 can take part in the competition. Participants will compete for the title of best translator, as well as for prizes and gifts, including a trip to the country of the language being studied.

This year, Cup assignments are based on Coursera lectures, and the best translations of our participants will be available to all students of this educational online project.

Already several thousand young translators began to perform tasks. To become a member of the "Cup", just register on the site . Do not forget to fill in all the required fields and indicate your real name and last name - it can be harder to prove that you are hiding behind a mysterious nickname than to win the main prize. Then, in any free time, you can choose the course you like and proceed to transfer. For translation of one task you will have 30 minutes. A nice bonus of this year is an unlimited number of approaches. If you think that the next translation will turn out better, then vote for the other participants' favorite translations - after this the service will allow you to take up new passages. Remember: the more quality translations there are, the more chances to win the main prize.

The winners of the "Cup" will help the participants to choose their own vote, and after its completion, the jury will analyze the results and announce the best translator.
