A small and stylish accessory immediately attracted public attention on Kickstarter: in the first two days almost $ 300 thousand was collected, that is, one and a half times the required amount, despite the high cost of the gadget ($ 79). Such funding suggests that developers will be able to carry out their plans and launch Dart in mass production.
Adapter weighing 60 grams and the size of a slightly larger lighter is convenient to carry in a pocket or bag. The device works in networks with alternating current of 90-265 V, 50/60 Hz, that is, it can be connected to our networks through a simple adapter, like ordinary adapters for laptops. Cable length - 1.82 meters.
The standard version of the Dart works with many laptops that are designed for 18-21 V, and for the MacBook you can order a special version of the Dart for $ 70 more than the original.
Published a
separate document with a list of compatible laptops.
A key component of the Dart is the original AC / DC converter,
patented by MIT engineers. The converter operates at a higher frequency than conventional converters. Due to this, it was possible to drastically improve the efficiency, reduce heat generation and the size of components on the printed circuit board.

The first copies of Dart promise to send customers with Kickstarter in November 2014. Unfortunately, at first the goods are sent only in the United States.
