Task about cords

Simple task. Sometimes I suggest at the interview :)

There are two bickford fuse cords. Different. One thing is known: each of them is completely burned in exactly one hour. How with the help of these cords (and lighters :) measure 45 minutes?

Additional How the cords are burning is not known: maybe evenly, but maybe not.

Say again. The fact that the cord burns completely in an hour does not mean that half of the cord will burn in 30 minutes.
