Huginn: Yahoo Pipes and IFTTT agents on your server

Huginn is a system for programming agents and performing various tasks online, modeled on Yahoo Pipes and IFTTT, but only for installation on your own server. At Huginn, we ourselves control our own data and are not dependent on third-party restrictions.

The project is fresh, so far not so many ready-made agents. Here are some of them:

• A “reminder” by e-mail in case there was rain in the weather forecast for tomorrow;
• monitoring of Twitter by keywords with sending a letter when a certain word appears;
• monitoring of Twitter by keywords with sending a letter with an increase in the frequency of the specified word above a predetermined threshold;
• tracking sales on sites with airline tickets;
• scraping websites for changes;
• compilation of events with sending once a day at a specified time by e-mail;
• tracking public transport;
• launch arbitrary JavaScript agents on the server;
• tracking your location;
• Automatic creation of Amazon Mechanical Turk tasks based on the results of JavaScript agents and the initiation of JavaScript agents based on the results of Amazon Mechanical Turk tasks (once a day ask five people to send photos of funny cats, send the results of five to other people for evaluation, send a photo with the best cat to others five people for the accompanying signatures, send the result to the last five people to evaluate the signatures, publish the best photo with the best inscription on my blog);
