Condoleezza Rice, the former head of the US State Department, joined the board of directors of Dropbox

Friday's five minutes of interesting facts: the former head of the US State Department, Condoleezza Rice (as for me, the figure is quite odious), entered the board of directors of Dropbox. According to the service administration, they needed a person with experience in international relations to resolve problems in foreign countries where the service is prohibited (for example, in China).

Three things are interesting here:

Firstly, most of us remember well how Rice can resolve (a link to neutral Wikipedia), secondly, her firm RiceHadleyGates has long been an advisor to Dropbox, and third, you can recall the recent story about how Dropbox didn’t allow a user to share a pirated file with film, in some tricky way of determining that it is pirated, while solemnly assuring that they do not touch files in Dropbox itself (in fact they touch, but it seems like only in public and through comparison of hashes, but this is another topic).
')
I will not draw conclusions, everyone will make them himself, based on the level of paranoia. My today has grown a little. I wonder what Snowden would say?
