Nokia X on Droidcon Moscow

We would like to invite you to the first Droidcon Moscow conference in Russia, which will be held tomorrow and the day after tomorrow at the Digital October center in Moscow.

If you do not know what Droidcon is, we inform you - this is the largest Eurasian conference of Android developers. Droidcon conferences have been held annually since 2009 around the world, focusing on the technical and economic aspects of the Android platform. And for the first time this event will be held in Russia, in the Moscow Digital October Exhibition Center.
On the first day of Droidcon Moscow 2014, that is, on April 11 there will be a conference and a gadget show from leading IT corporations.
At 10:30, Sergey Rudenko, the head of the Developer Experience department in the Russian-speaking countries of Nokia at the presentation of the Nokia X platform, will speak. He will talk about the development benefits for the new platform, its capabilities and development prospects.
The main topics of this day will also include business applications, monetization of Android applications, innovations and entrepreneurial ecosystems, development of cross-platform applications, mobile advertising in Android applications, responsive design, augmented reality, and much more. The business program will also be attended by international experts from the Android developer community from the UK, Germany, France, Poland, Romania, Macedonia.
After the official part, Droidcon Moscow Hackathon will be held, which will bring together Android developers, allow them to use the knowledge gained at the conference, to realize their ideas and win valuable prizes from Nokia and other partners.
The program of the second day of Droidcon Moscow 2014 (April 12) will include:
- BarCamp, in which developers in a free format will be able to present their successful cases, projects, ideas and discuss them with the participants.
- Democamp, in which pre-selected teams will present projects to the best experts and venture investors.
- Hackathon final and winners award ceremony.
On Saturday, we will also hold a NokiaX workshop for Android developers. The same code, new audiences ”, where we compare existing Android platforms, as well as tell about Nokia’s branded services for the Nokia X platform (notifications, In-app payments and HERE Cards) and show how to implement them in our applications.
