The initiators of the
Brain Basket Foundation are pleased to announce the
launch of the foundation and its
official presentation , which will be held on April 15 in Kiev, the Olympic NSC from 18.00 to 20.30
The purpose of the foundation is to make the IT industry the driving force for creating a powerful / strong economy of Ukraine.
The project was initiated by leading IT companies - Ciklum, SoftServe, AVentures, EPAM Ukraine, GlobalLogic, Luxoft Ukraine, with the support of Pavel Sheremety, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
By 2020, by joining efforts, it is planned to train 100,000 IT specialists who will get jobs in the IT industry and attract $ 10 billion in export earnings to Ukraine.
We invite everyone to participate in the launch event in order to learn firsthand about what the foundation's work will include and influence / suggest our own initiatives that will help the development of the Ukrainian IT industry.
During the first hour of the event,
Trond Moe, Torben Maygard, Pavlo Sheremet and representatives of partner companies will speak to the participants, who will talk in detail about the plans and further development of the Brain Basket Foundation.

During the second hour of the event, all participants will have the opportunity to
share and discuss ideas related to further steps in the development of the IT industry in the format of facilitated open discussion. Preliminary topics for discussion: work with existing educational organizations, the creation of new / alternative / fast ways of IT education, Ukraine on the way to Smart Country, the work of Brain Basket throughout Ukraine. It also provides the ability to organize your thread for discussion.
We invite representatives of venture capital funds and IT companies, IT community activists, IT specialists who want to assist, share their ideas / experience / time to train IT specialists, everyone who cares about the development of the IT industry and the country as a whole.
