Dropbox launched the Carousel application

Favorite by many, Dropbox has launched a new application called Carousel .
Carousel is a gallery of photos and videos uploaded by the user to your Dropbox account. The app automatically sorts them by time, date, or event, and it looks a bit like “Photostream” in iOS 7.

Using gestures, you can easily create a selection of photos / videos and share it with friends. You can also hide some photos so that they do not appear in the general gallery, but at the same time remain in your Dropbox account.

You can watch a video presentation of the new application:

Now the application is available for Android and iOS users. It requires iOS 7.0 or higher, or Android 4.0.3 or later.

From myself I can add that I have long been waiting for the convenient photo-management application from the creators of Dropbox. After all, now I keep all the new photos in Dropbox and then gradually transfer my old archive. It is very convenient.
In my opinion, the new application lacks the functions to create / edit albums (which are in the dropbox itself) or tags, but I hope that they will appear in new versions.
