Recently, Samsung Electronics announced several new light bulbs ... yes, yes, not only high-tech products are rich, although even without high technologies. The presentation of smart-lamps was held as part of the largest international exhibition of architecture and technology “Light + Building 2014”, which was held in Frankfurt in early April. Lightweight and more efficient PAR-lamps with swivel heads, decorative LED lamps of classic design, as well as the L-series of tube-shaped lamps, have become the company's new LED solutions.
Unlike existing LED-lamps, controlled via Wi-Fi, Smart Bulb smart bulbs use Bluetooth technology, which allows you to do without an access point. By installing the appropriate application on a smartphone or tablet, the user can control up to 64 Smart-bulbs without additional equipment and settings. In addition to the usual on / off and programming the automatic on / off time, the user can change the modes of operation of the light bulbs, for example, reduce the brightness to 10% of the nominal power or change the color temperature (from 2700 to 6500 K). Also, the capabilities of Smart Bulb allow you to set the hourly mode of illumination: the light bulb will change the brightness depending on the change in natural light and the time of day. The service life of Smart Bulb is 15,000 hours - about 10 years of work.

A version of smart bulbs with support for Zigbee networks using lower-level services (access control level to the MAC environment and the PHY physical layer, regulated by the IEEE 802.15 standard) will be available to corporate customers, which will allow greater flexibility in setting up and automating lighting.
A feature of the Samsung PAR-series of lamps is that one device can perform both the function of a lighting device and a searchlight, which can be rotated in different directions without the need for additional accessories. At the same time, PAR lamps have a high color rendering ratio (over 90), which makes them indispensable for creating professional interiors in which light is a crucial element.
The tube-like lamps of the Samsung L-series have optimal performance characteristics for indoor use. The cost of installing these lamps remains low due to their ECG / CCG compatibility.
