The oldest Russian online music publication turns 10 years old. It began its work in 1996 under the domain Music.Ru. After some time, the name was transformed into the one we know to this day - Zvuki.Ru .
According to the creators, over half a million readers visit the site every month. News from the world of music and show business, reviews of albums, reports from musical events all over the world is a small part of what the Sounds team is proud of. Especially they provide absolutely legal audio archive . All phonograms hosted on the server are contained on pages with the official permission of copyright holders (musicians, companies), as well as under the license of the Society for the Provision of Copyright and Related Rights on the Internet and Multimedia ( ROMS ). Over the past years, the resource has been highly appreciated by a jury of various online competitions, won several prestigious awards: ROTOR (2000,2001, 2002, 2005), ROTOR ++ (2000). The server became the winner of the National Internet Award (Best Musical Site 2001 and 2003, finalist 2002).
