April 4 - the Day of St. Isidore of Seville and the day of the webmaster

April 4 marks the 1378th anniversary of the death of St. Isidore of Seville. Why do we write about this? Because in 2003, Pope John Paul II appointed Isidore as patron of the Internet and computer users. This honorable husband was chosen for being so honorable by modern standards because during his lifetime he was one of the most educated people of his time. In addition, Isidore Sevilsky wrote one of the world's first encyclopedias: the 20-volume "Etymology" (Etymologiae). So linguists can also consider this saint "their".
