Hi, Habravchane!
Usually in the first paragraph they write all sorts of wisdom of life, about their own rakes and on the state of things in general. Therefore:
')
- the wisdom of life : - Learn well! And to study well is even better!
- own rake : there was no tracker and tutorials before, you had to read smart books and listen to smart people. There are few clever books, not all clever people speak well; there are no other options to learn.
- About the situation in general : now there are a lot of platforms for MOOC, sooo many different courses and a lot of tools for education.
Purpose:
Therefore, we decided to conduct a hackathon and make many more good tools for education.
What could it be?
Anything:
- site with a convenient search for video lectures
- aggregator of available lectures on a given topic
- its own MOOC platform (which is naturally better than any cursor)
- applications for existing MOOC platforms
- plugins for programs to learn how to work with the same programs
- new types of interactive tutorials
In the comments to this article, you can discuss your ideas and put together a team to start preparing for the hackathon.
Super, and when?
Here we decided to create an alternative to the first kebabs and hold a hackathon from May 1 to 3. Hooray, Labor Day.
Not super, and when?
Do you have any idea what it should look like? Well, then from May 1 to 3 ...
And where?
St. Petersburg, Kantemirovskaya 2A, BC Times. So that nothing distracts you from programming, comfortable workplaces, Wi-Fi, food will be organized, and for those who are tired, soft ottomans.
Hackathon rules
Hackathon rules (adapted from AngelHack):
- Fresh code . We all start programming at the same time. This is done to ensure that everything is fair. Please do not come to make add-ons over your past projects if you want to win. Before the start of the hackathon, you can work on designs, layouts, open frameworks, including those available to others, but no more.
- Code review . Among the winning teams there will be a review of the code some time after the event or immediately after the victory.
- Intellectual property . Teams have all the rights to what they did on the hackathon, and are free to do anything with it.
- Team size Teams can contain up to 5 people. Also, you can add one cyborg, drone or superhero.
- Confirmation . Each project will have to have its own page on the hackathon site, and each team must add its project to the site by 1:00 pm of the last day.
- Presentation of the project . You have to show the project in work. Boring slides and powerpoints are not allowed. Do not be alarmed if you did not have time to finish something, this is normal, since you tried your best. Show it.
- Good luck . This is Hackathon! Use any languages and hacks that are in your arsenal. Use new concepts. Use iron. Anything you like
Prizes
Three best projects will receive valuable prizes, prizes are also expected in separate nominations.
Up to 2 teams can get a special prize - support for the continuation and development of the project, including their own room in a convenient around-the-clock office with meals. This prize will be awarded only if among the projects, according to the jury, are those that can be developed into a product. If the jury does not find such projects, the prize will not be awarded.
And if I'm not from St. Petersburg?
Food, shower, soft puffs, the Internet - you can live on the Hackathon.
