Social networks are a trendy term. Everyone knows what it is. Everyone thinks that IT is cool. Any project is cluttered with these “social growths”. There is an account, you need to fasten a list of friends. Wait, you can find a friend through a friend of a friend, let's do ... The user has a school in which he studied, let's show him classmates, let them communicate. They create interest groups, meet, post media.
What for? Yes, money.
I'm sick of social networks. But I am ready to do socials for money. Only good )

Take
odnoklasniki.ru I do not believe in the idea of classmates. Odnoklassniki.ru - a soap bubble that is about to burst. The bulk of it is people who have left the country, of middle age, in a word, those whose contacts were lost either during the period of perestroika or because of the lack of elementary means of communication (mobile, email, IM). I do not argue that this network has given many people the opportunity to restore lost connections. Including me. But the benefits of these connections easily compete with their senselessness. People found each other, but they were separated by kilometers, years, new interests, poor memory, and (let the idealists dig me up) social status. On this 9 out of 10 everything will end - a link in the “Friends” tab. It can be argued that even this link will contribute to the expansion of the network, because it will be easier for others to find someone on these lists. Yes, that's what happens. Only users, at some point, cease to be network builders. Outside, all is well, "we are already 7", 8, 10, 12 million. Only active users, this is like a bubble shell, and the main volume is void. New and active will be less. The current generation does not need these stupid networks, they have mobile phones from the 2nd class, emails from the 5th and ICQ.
Therefore, the arrival of classmates in Ukraine also seems meaningless to me, as well as competition with this project based on retro-connections.
What is always interesting to people is love \ sex, career \ money \ recognition and leisure \ rest. Focusing on these basic needs, you can create a successful and promising social network capable of flexible transformation and adaptation.
