Naval Battle in Google Spreadsheets

Many use tables to organize statistics, perform calculations, and build graphs or charts. In addition, in the tables of Google, you can also play a game of naval battle.

I implemented it in an online editor that allows you to create and format tables, a game familiar to everyone from childhood, Google certified teacher Eric Curts (Eric Curts). In his post, Eric calls for "shooting at enemies" aptly so that the exclamations "Wounded, killed!" Could be heard on the entire Internet.

To start playing, you must log in to Google Drive , create a personal copy of the sea battle pattern from Eric Körz and share it with your prospective opponent. On the first tab of the sample for the game you can find detailed instructions for further action in English.

In general, this is an online game, each of the participants of which maintains his own sheet of the table in a general document. On the field, you can arrange 5, 4-ex, 3-ex and double-deck ships, using the letters A, B, C, D, F. To shoot at an opponent, use the letter X.

The applied formulas and conditions in the Table will automatically color the field if your ship is shot down or you get into the enemy vessel. The game continues until it is time for one naval army to be completely sunk.

To start the game again, it is enough to clear the cells from the data of the previous game.
