Hello dear Habrazhiteli!
The image is scanned from my literature and pre-processed.
I am proposing for the general discussion the above entitled topic. I would love to discuss it.
It's no secret that in the distant Soviet times (which I, among other things, managed to capture, although I don’t remember much about them, mostly only from the stories of my Moms and Dads), it’s probably not the most cost-effective technologies that were debugged, but they were their own, and perhaps more reliable and practical than they are now. What is worth only one quality mark that was applied to almost all products manufactured by the Council, including export products? Although what went on export, I do not know. And a special place in all this beauty is Soviet literature!
You just remember these black and white and color pictures, graphics and formulas. How nice it was to hold such a book in your hand I miss the spark of these works of art (I’m not afraid of the word), and in part I honestly admit that it becomes sad that everything on earth is not forever, including literature, which inevitably grows old ...

How much work was invested by our predecessors in the creation of such masterpieces. When I was holding such a book in my hands, I literally completely immersed in its content, the material was presented in an accessible and understandable language, the list of used literature took several pages. Such books made me dawn, wake up early winter morning, pick up a book, turn on the light, and sometimes light a candle (there were such temporary ones), and actually begin reading the material with great pleasure.
I am not going to raise the topic of licensing agreements, or the rights of rights holders, and especially political topics of various regimes.
With this post, I would like to ask a question first of all to myself and the audience:
- “So that We could do to preserve and increase - these forgotten production technologies, and the manner of presentation of information in the printed literature (both technical and humanitarian)?”
- “Is it possible to restore such printing production now?”
Share your opinions under the cut.
Below are a couple of questions.
Thank you for your attention friends!
Sincerely, zhogar.
