Since 2011, Synology has not updated the smallest NAS with drive bays - DS411slim. But the time has come and we present to your attention DS414slim .
A distinctive feature of this series is the 2.5 "HDD bays. Thanks to the use of small HDDs, the DS414slim is the most compact model. The main difference from its predecessor is 2 Gbps ports, Marvell Armada 370 1.2GHz processor and 512MB of RAM.

The new model continues the trend of Synology for maximum use of the capacity of the body. If the predecessor had only 10 slots for 3.5 "HDD, then the novelty already has 12.
