Direct-phone advertising appeared on Google Maps

The Google Maps online service has been enhanced with the Click-to-Call direct-dialing feature that allows you to call shops and businesses located on the map.

The service is provided free of charge (charge for the call itself, of course, charged) and works almost two clicks. To contact the company you are interested in, you must first click on the “call” link next to the phone number, then enter your number and click “Connect For free”. Both numbers are remembered at the same time, and in the future they will not have to be re-entered, according to the official Google blog .
